Context: Successful execution of a large national event required identifying, training and managing 3000 volunteers. Over 5000 volunteers from various organizations and schools applied to support this program. It was critical to indentify the suitable 3000 for ensuring a successful event
Intervention: Designed and conducted an experiential learning program for 5000 volunteers, managers and leaders to enable them successfully host a large national event. The experiential learning program included a set of high energy indoor and outdoor activities to identify leaders, weed-out non-performers, bond teams and develop communication and planning skills.
Impact: Successfully identified and trained 3000 volunteers. The experiential learning program enabled the alignment of the entire team to ensure high service levels, morale and successful coordination of critical activities.
