Context: A mid-sized electronic equipment manufacturer was faced with decreasing sales, poor product quality and low profitability and morale
Intervention: Initial assessments revealed the need to improve coordination across the different functions and developing leadership competencies. The lack of coordination across the product development, marketing and sales functions led to lost sales. Lack of strategic thinking in the top leadership led to introducing wrong products in a very competitive market.
Strategic thinking and leadership competencies were imparted to the top 3 levels of executives as a part of a Leadership Development program. A clear communication and coordination process was designed and implemented across leadership and various functions. A professional coach worked with the CEO to help him identify and hone his leadership skills, and bring about a culture of accountability across the organisation.
Impact: Increased sales of the organization by 20% and imparted leadership skills to over 30 executives who are being groomed to be take-on senior roles.
